Adriano Correia will not play against Córdoba this evening at the Camp Nou. The injury to his right ankle persists and he has therefore been dropped from the squad. Jordi Roura explained in his press conference on Wednesday that the coaching staff would use this morning’s training session as a gauge to see whether Adriano would be fit to play. The Brazilian defender picked up the injury during the open training session on the 4th of January, which already caused him to miss the Catalan derby against Espanyol. The progress of his recovery will determine his availability for other upcoming matches.
