FCBEscola expands to the United States

FCBEscola expands to the United States

If you are a child who dreams of playing football at La Masia, the FCBEscola model gives children a chance to learn the technical skills as well as the values of FC Barcelona in cities around the world. As football/soccer gains traction and popularity in the United States, FCB has decided that the time is right to establish an FCBEscola in Florida. Now American children who idolize first team players such as Lionel Messi and Andrés Iniesta or who wish to follow in the footsteps of Tim Howard and Michael Bradley and break into the European leagues can be trained in the methodology and skills that have made Barça champions.

The FCBEscola will be located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Florida has been the site of many successful football camps in the past and has been judged to be a location that has a lot of interest in the sport. The program will be supervised by a technical director from the FCBEscola in Barcelona and will serve children between six and thirteen years of age.

THE MATHEMATICIANS 2 – 1 THE LIONS

Picture of the day: Get angry!

Picture of the day: Get angry!

If FC Barcelona are going to finish this season with their heads held high, they need to get their fighting spirit back. They need to get angry! Fight for it! They showed a bit of fight during the last 15 minutes of yesterday’s match and came back to win 2-1. Let’s hope the players don’t slide out of the rest of the season and away into their separate teams for the World Cup. Let’s hope that someone in that locker room gives the team a damn good talking to and gets them fired up to finish strong. Get angry!

FC Barcelona’s Cadete B players were in Russia this week for a tournament. The team gave the trophy to the orphanage, took pictures with the children and, of course, played some football with them.

Dani Alves, choosing to inspire and not criticize after a very difficult week, posted these inspirational words along with this picture on his Instagram account on Sunday.

“TOGETHER UNTIL THE END” We are always the ones responsible for the glory of this team and of this club, we are the ones required to overcome difficult situations, now more than ever WE ARE UNITED, we are the best, they can say whatever they will say. The results will be good, bad, but the presentation of everything makes me proud to be part of this team. BARÇA TO THE DEATH AND AFTER.”
