Bad weather and rains forced the referee to suspend FC Barcelona’s Juvenil A team’s first game of the season, which should have been played against Gimnastic de Tarragona. The squad of youngsters coached by Jordi Vinyals was able to only play the first 12 minutes of the league game until the referee decided to send both teams to the dressing rooms because of the bad weather and the rain on the La Pobla de Mafumet grounds.
After a few minutes, the referee went out to check the pitch conditions to see if the game could be resumed. However, the condition of the grounds wasn’t getting any better, and the referee decided to suspend the game definitively.
As soon as the game is played, totalBarça will provide a review of the first game of the season.
