Celebrating 3 years with everyone…(Part 1 of 5)

In celebrating totalBarça’s third anniversary, we wanted to share with the community ‘what totalBarça means to you’.  We accepted your birthday wishes between September 1 – 8 and now we are thrilled to present all the kind words which were received.  Our team would like to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to submit something.

Without further ado, we present to you the 1st edition to how you are celebrating 3 years with us…

Hi fellow cules :)

I’ve been with you from the beginning and you’ve rightfully deserved my top place as ‘most visited’ sites on my browser.

Wish you all the best and hope we’ll have long term relationship filled with joy and trophies :)

Best regards from Vasko – Penya Blaugrana Macedonia :)

Hi guys,

This site gives me an insight to FC Barcelona. I almost every day follow up for new stuff, hoping to find something which is not anywhere else (not in club official web site nor on any football sites).

It is also important for me to see an honest and fair rating of each Barca player after matches.

Keep up the good work.

Happy Birthday to totalBarca! It was a while since I had my first click to totalBarca.com and then this site become one of my bookmarked sites. It has always let me keep in touch with the favorite team.

I would love to give a big hug to totalBarca and all of the staff.

Hello everyone at totalBarça!

What totalBarça means to me is something I can’t describe in a word but in a phrase that will seem quite familiar to us cules. “Mes que un website” haha. Really, that’s the only way to describe the totalBarça community.

Everyday there are things that are part of my routine, from brushing my teeth, to soccer practice, to checking totalbarca.com when I wake up, when I get on a computer at school, when I get home and periodically throughout the evening catching up with the world of Barça. There is no other website I visit as much as totalBarça. None. Everything on the site is up to date and maintained as well as it possibly could be, in my opinion.

Now back to my description of the site.

Like our beloved club who has experienced so much success and so few let-downs in the recent past, it is fitting that the best Barça site has been eerily similar. From the success of the third anniversary on the horizon and the site always being on top of everything Barça related, the only let downs to me have been completely overshadowed by the successes. The switching of the commenting system and the temporary (I hope) ;) loss of the game countdown timer have been the only things remotely close to a let down.

The totalBarça community has stuck together since 2009, through Champions League semi-final heartbreakers to glory filled and picture perfect manitas to a Champions League final win and to the slow loss of grip on La Liga last season. Everyone at totalBarça, the writers/publishers/statistic recorders/moderators/commenters, although completely unaware of it, much like the players/coaches/president at Barça are to us, are all a part of my life, no matter how big or small, they are a part and have made Barça more enjoyable for me these past three years. Although I don’t comment very much now and didn’t before the change either, I am always reading comments on posts and am happy to be in the company of all fellow cules who visit totalbarca.com.

Thanks everyone,
