Xavi Hernández will miss the next few games in La Liga after tests this Thursday morning determined that the blaugrana midfielder has a tear in his left calf muscle. He is expected to be out of action for approximately 15 days.

So far this season, Xavi has played in a total of 47 games, scoring 14 goals. In the last eight matches, he has only completed the full 90 minutes on two occasions. The player from Terrassa has been having trouble with the soleus muscle in his calf for most of the season. He most recently missed the Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen with a right calf problem.
