Friday training
The plane carrying the FC Barcelona squad touched down at 11:15 this morning at El Prat airport near Barcelona. The blaugrana, returning from Pamplona, where Barça qualified for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey after eliminating Osasuna, headed straight to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for a training session. This Sunday (21:30), the team will welcome Real Betis in the Liga and the squad is determined to start preparing for the fixture as quickly as possible.
Guardiola led the training session with all his available players, minus the injured members of the squad and Keita, who will be playing with Mali in the African Cup of Nations. The players who started against Osasuna did recovery work. The rest, including Alves and Iniesta, who didn’t travel to Pamplona, held a more intense training session. Cuenca, Montoya, Sergi Roberto, and Jonathan dos Santos from the B team also took part.
Saturday morning, at 11 am, the team will hold its next training session, behind closed doors at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Directly after, coach Pep Guardiola will hold his press conference.

Fontas get well soon!!!
2muchbarca….only you can save Lucas Moura, dont let him go to Inter, he is anwesome midfielder, tell him to wait in Sao Paulo until at least 2013, I really want to see him at Barca

Fontas was actually playing well that beginning of that game, hope he gets well soonn
Fontas isn't a bad defender at all. The only flaw to his game is really his pace. Not a player we can expect to run back and do last ditch tackles
I think the title should be Friday training NOT Wednesday training.
Unless of course Barca players can travel through time…
Only one of their many magical powers.
hmm you forgot about the power of turning realmadrid men into lil girls ?
Please, women are much more brave then men. Call Madrid players chiwawas.
Agreed! Little girls can be tough!
seriously, no need to be sexist.
Other than during childbirth, no.
Amanda made so many mistakes lately. She must be looking for some attention :*
she is still the best writer on this site in my opinion. Harshawardhan is also very good.
the only person looking for some attention is you jessica :-*
Fixed!
the url still says wednesday training xD
Hoping Fontas has a successful surgery and rehab. All the best .
What i admired about Fontas was, even though he already hurt his knee , he got up and still managed to win and clear the ball out. He wasnt going to let his mistake be the reason for the goal. Thats a trooper spirit tight there for ya
What an amazingly magically/golden boots for Messi. He will wear it on Sunday.

Mann those are awesome.. I like the three years listed on the side
Pep is so fresh like a photo model. Man, he is so handsome!!!
Pep has SWAG
hella swag
its wonderful.
I remember last year after wining balon d’or by messi we played vs betis in copa in camp nou and he showed it to fans and we won by a hattrick from messi.
Now its same, messi shows his golden ball to fans in camp nou in betis game.
I hope we win again 5-0 vs them by messi hattrick.
Messi would score 5 because of this http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/01/13/article…
Straight from the plane to training… These boys work so hard! Visca Barca!
Shut up now. Thank you.
I'm tired of seeing Barca players with crutches
. anims Fontas , Villa and Ibi .
OT: Apparently Ronaldinho is unsettled at Flamengo because of unpaid wages…anyone want a loan move for Dinho…Thumbs Up…and Thumbs down plus a reason for no Ronaldinho.
might as well loan Rafa Marquez considering that Maxwell is gone and now Fontas is out for a few months…
and Rafa can even play Keita's role

can any of you name all the left-footed players in barca??!!?
Messi, Abidal, Adriano
Keita, Fontas, Muniesa, Rafinha
I thought rafinha was right footed?
Rafinha is left footed, Adriano is actually right footed although his left is very good.
Barcelona players should be less self-confident, I see that the level of play is decreasing due to all the recent good results, but we are entering a decisive part of the season which is the next 2 weeks, where we can beat up moudrid and cause them a psychological blow. We must win, we must fight, keep it serious !!!
Pep looks so good,WOW!
Oh yes he does! Always!
reports suggest that ronaldinho may leave this month due to some payment problems! call me crazy, bring him back for the rest of the season? why not might be useful?
Looks like Henrys move has been inspiring to all. Ronaldinho would be a fantastic move, he would motivate messi to do all the tricks he use to do maybe teach thiago some because he has his movements, ronny back would be a dream!
I would only think it would improve the team, especially with Villa out and Ibi still not ready to play.

Much love for Fontas!
Pep looks like a movie star. He’s too fly!!
Hope we play like this
Valdes
Puyol-Pique-Masche
——Busquets
—–Xavi-Iniesta
——Fabregas
Alves-Messi-Alexis
You should have more confidence in Pep than in you. Just hope he will do a good choice.
I just saw on barcastuff#: Relano (director As): "Being of the capital, Real Madrid always had more benefits than Barça. Their people appointed the referees." [ona]
Sorry for ignorance, but who is this guy?
This is big news!! I always knew it!
all Cules, listen to this after the 12th minutes.. Follow me if you want Barca related news…
