This season two important titles have slipped away, but we’ll be back as strong as ever next year.” On winning his fifth Zamora trophy, the keeper stated, “I was very excited with the prospect of winning my fifth Zamora and equalling Ramallets. I’ve always looked up to him.” Valdés underlined that the Zamora trophy “is not a priority, but it’s important for the team to win this award.” The keeper also praised the Betis side, “they are a team that play excellent football. Both teams had chances to score and, in the end, we ended with a draw.”

Pedro Rodríguez stated that team “played a great game. In the end, a draw is a just result.” Asked about upcoming weeks, the player underlined that “we’ve worked hard to prepare for the King’s Cup Final. We’ll try to win the title.” Isaac Cuenca commented that “the Liga is over and we’ve finished with Víctor Valdés as this year’s Zamora winner. Now for the King’s Cup.” Cristian Tello tweeted right after game: “we bid farewell to the Liga with a 2-2 in Seville. Now it’s time to prepare for the King’s Cup Final.
