This is the team that played the 2009 CL, I think many of us are missing the boat here.

This season our team was ALOT weaker than that 2009 Team for me that is the Dream Team right there.

Still the same creativity in mid field, defensively far superior with Marquez (El Kaiser, the man for the big occasions) and Puyol(captain lion heart) in the form of there lives and Pique bursting onto the scene.

In attack a trident I dont think I will ever have the honour of watching again, 3 Huge Cracks, 3 highly intelligent players, 3 potent goalscorers , carrying the load up front when things got tough, not just Messi but TH14 – one of the best strikers ever (little bit past his absolute best) but still a sublime player pitching in with 26 goals and 12 assists, hard working always tracking back to help the defence,

Samuel Eto at probably the height of his powers, more no nonsense of the 3, more of a direct player a sublime finisher, one of the best strikers in the history of the game, then you have the 3 time world player of the year Messi! Alves and to top that off a man mountain best of a defender, speed and strength personified! Always on the look out for the next attack from the opposition when our creative juices flowed him and Puyol were the men steadying the ship, always protecting our central defence, never leaving his post un-gaurded in the search for glory, The absolute ultimate DM Yaya Toure.

Now I dare you to compare our current squad to this Dream Team! We played total absolute Football, and we conquered everything and everyone there was the ideology of a Mad Football scientist brought to life, but make no mistake we had the players to do it, this season we didnt!

We should definitely get some defenders; i think it is dumb to get strikers. Bale and Martinez are good choices because they are tall defenders and I think that's what we need. Most of our players are short so we lack power in the air. When we play against parked-the-bus teams we could surprise them by scoring from corner kicks or free-kicks.

Lol Pedro is a joke compared to RVP, RVP is the taims captain who singlehandedly took Arsenal to the CL, good in the air, technically far beyond pedro villa etc.

- Alba for Leftback. Small but technically gifted and good at passing

- J. Martinez for CB. He could also play at DM, so Busquets can get some rest (or maybe he can play on the xavi position. i think he would do a great job there)

- we shouldn't buy anyone of the mentioned players for the attack. Drogba ist too old, van Persie is too expensive, Llorente is technically limited and Cavani needs his power but we need a technically gifted player. if we buy someone for the attack it should be a winger like neymar. someone who can cut inside and shoot. neymar is technically gifted and he can be formed like we want him to be because he's still young.

If Drogba is coming for free, its better we take him. Have not forgotten what Larsson gave us when he came ” A champions trohpy”. Drogba can perfectly match that, break the bus in second half when the defence is tired.

I have always had the same opinion. Llorente is not really an Ibra-type of player, he is more willing to participate in build ups and even defend corners. I prefer these types of strikers than pure center forwards. Also, knowing that in FCB he won't be relied on as the main source of goals (hell, everyone in our team can score goals if they really try to), there will be less pressure on him – I do not expect him to be a goal machine, but rather a physical enforcer in the forward line. A different type of Alexis maybe? The bombers will still be Villa, Messi, and Pedro.

To be honest the relaxed outlook of the FCB players and staff can only have a positive effect. It helps hold these people together. And everybody knows FCB is always under pressure, even more so than Real Madrid members I'd dare say. If it wasn't for the family-like condition, maybe we would have dropped a lot more points with all the challenges we had to overcome.

Lucio. Diego Milito . Vertoghn . Botia . Alba . = maybe 35-40 mill. Are cheap and realistic options would squad depth, plan b, youth and experience mix . Will freshen squad. I would love to have e. g Thiago Silva , Falcoa , Hummels ,Rvp etc but only three of them would cost 100 mill . Plus thier clubs aren’t willing to Allow Their best players .
