Hours after qualifying for the semi-finals of the Champions League for the fifth year in a row, Barça has returned to work this Wednesday morning with a training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The starters against Milan did recovery work and only Valdés, Alves, Cuenca, and Mascherano were present on the pitch. The rest of the players, along with Afellay and Abidal, took part in a joint session with the reserves.

The session took place behind closed doors and with heavy rainfall in Sant Joan Despí. The team has begun preparing for Saturday’s league match away at Zaragoza (20:00). The Barça players will enjoy a day off on Thursday before returning on Friday for a training session starting at 11:00.
