Stat of the Day: goals galore!
One man has led the scoring in the last four editions of the Champions League. You may recognize this name: Lionel Messi. In 2008/09 he scored 9 times, only 8 in 09/10, then 12 in 10/11, and 14 in the last campaign. Two more strikes to win the game for Barcelona on Wednesday in the first CL match of 2012/13, and the Argentine is well on his way to securing this “title” yet agan.
