FC Barcelona’s first Champions League encounter of this campaign on Wednesday against Spartak Moscow will be officiated by Serbian referee Milorad Mazic (39).

This game will be the first time Mazic will be holding the whistle at the Champions League after having honed his officiating skills in the Europa League. He looked over the qualifying game between AEl Limassol from Cyprus and Belgian club Anderlecht, expelling Anderlecht striker Milan Jovanovic (31) in the process.
