Barça’s available first team players held their penultimate training session of the week this Thursday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. With only five players not on international duty –Puyol, Pinto, Dos Santos, Fontàs, and Thiago- the first team trained together with Barça B. Carles Puyol continued to wear a protective face mask for part of the session, during the exercises where there was possible contact.

Today’s session was overseen by Eusebio Sacristán, as Tito Vilanova is in Nyon, participating in the second day of the annual UEFA elite coaches meeting. Vilanova is expected back for Friday morning’s training session, which will be the final session of the week for the blaugrana.
