Well yes, if that happened I wouldn't like that. But my point is that people wouldn't chant Ronaldo's name to Messi because:
1) Messi doesn't care and it doesn't affect him
2) People hate Ronaldo, not Messi

And in the end the fans paid for their tickets so I think they can chant anything they want, as long as there's no racism involved. They are supposed to help their own team, right? So if chanting Messi's name affects Portugal's biggest stars performance, then why not.

They are Denmark fans. They don't like Ronaldo. They don't care about his feelings, or about his fans' feelings. In fact, they want him to be upset, insecure, angry and generally unsettled – in his case, it hurts his game. If we had a player that was that sensitive to fans' chants, you better believe opposing fans would make him their b.itch.
