It's not always American athletes who win that award. Novak got it for last year's performance…
Messi and Ronaldo could not be compared. Different styles of play, completely. Both are indispencible to their clubs. And whoever says that the one is much better than the other, is very biased and should not present their opinion on a public blog.

yeahm that remark was kinda snobistic and uncalled for, i agree. basketball is a great sport with parallels to football, and we need to be realistic, football isn't always per definition a great sport, a lot of teams and players make it look like an ugly sport. it really depends who plays it and how its played.
