Barça’s current coach, Tito Vilanova, continues to shape the technical team that will lead the first team during the 2012-13 season. As reported by Rac1, Carles Planchart and Domènec Torrent have renewed for the next two seasons, the same time period that Vilanova has committed to the blaugrana club.
The two men are responsible for analyzing Barça’s rivals, a method of work know as “scouting”. Additionally, Jordi Roura also joins the new technical team formed by Tito Vilanova, but as the assistant coach, having formerly been the person in charge of “scouting”.
Planchart and Torrent will take Roura’s place. What remains to be seen is whether the partnership formed by Planchart and Torrent will be completed by a third specialist.
