These screws were removed from the leg of David Villa as a normal phase in his recuperation from a broken tibia. If all goes well, Villa’s doctors estimate that he will be able to run and exercise on the field in another six weeks.

Watching that really made me miss Villa even more. The one thing that he can do better than anyone else on the team – including Messi – is take those crazy shots from way out and actually have them consistently go in.
Terrific to hear that the recovery is going so well, though.

I remember when I had similar screws (although they looked more like nails on the x-ray) in my arm after I broke it on three places… It was scary seeing it stick out of your arm, you just can't accept the fact that they're actually supposed to be there, at least for the time being
The team really needs an expert and talisman like Villa at the moment
