This Tuesday at midday in the office of president Rosell, Andoni Zubizarreta has signed his contract extension with FC Barcelona through June 30, 2014. Officiating over the renewal of the sporting director for football were president president Sandro Rosell and vice president of sport, Josep M. Bartomeu.

The deal to extend Zubizarreta’s contract, which was set to expire in June of 2013,  for another year was announced last week on June 12th. This new deal, through June of 2014, also includes an option to extend the contract for a further two seasons, through the 30th of June, 2016.
