This Tuesday afternoon, FC Barcelona forward Isaac Cuenca (20) has signed an extended and improved contract with the Club that will keep him in blaugrana through the 30th of June, 2015. With this new contract, the player from Reus officially becomes a member of the first team.
The signing of the new contract for Cuenca took place at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, minutes before the start of the second training session on Tuesday. Isaac Cuenca was accompanied by his family and his agent, Josep Maria Orobitg. Representing FC Barcelona was the president of the Club, Sandro Rosell, vice president of sport, Josep Maria Bartomeu, and sporting director, Andoni Zubizarreta.
Cuenca, now a professional footballer of the first team, will switch to the number ’23′ on his jersey.
Speaking after his renewal, the player expressed his satisfaction with the new deal: “It’s a dream I’ve had since I was little, like any child has. It has come true and I am very happy for everything that has happened to me this past year.”
