Italian referee Nicola Rizzoli will oversee the Euro12 quarter-final match pitting Spain against France. Rizzoli, who plies his trade in Italy’s Serie A, saw action during the France v England match earlier in the competition. He came under somewhat severe criticism in the British press for his decisions in that match, and was said to have favored the French at a number of crucial junctures.
