The Beijing Olympic Center witnessed today the opening of the new FCB Escola campus today. The motive behind this campus is to instill FC Barcelona’s training methodology into young Chinese footballers who wish to get acquainted with the Barça philosophy.

The Beijing Campus of the Escola will host 100 Chinese youngsters aged between 6 and 18. The two-week long training camp will be led by local and La Masia managers. The focus of the training camp will be to teach the youngsters teamwork and ball circulation – the footballing style that has brought Barça so much success in European competitions.

Isaac Oriol Guerrero, manager of the FCB Escola Beijing Campus, said:  “this is the first time that FCB Escola has come to China,  and it’s impressive to see the passion that these Chinese players have. I hope they like training with La Masia managers and that their overall experience during these two weeks is enjoyable.”
