FC Barcelona starlet Marc Muniesa sustained a potentially serious injury Tuesday in the club’s 2-1 victory over Hamburg. Muniesa, who was also injured in last year’s preseason, will have to wait until Wednesday for a concrete diagnosis, but it is feared that he has torn a cruciate ligament in his right knee. If these fears are confirmed, Muniesa will miss the rest of the preseason with Barcelona’s first team, and will likely have a lengthy recovery ahead of him.
