Doctor Ricard Pruna explained that Thiago, who has an edema on his right tibia, will have a specific program of recovery during the summer. Continue reading to find out more about the recoveries of Alves, Abidal, Fontàs, Villa, and Fàbregas.
On Cesc Fàbregas’ injury, Pruna said that “it’s not serious, but he’s at risk. We’ve informed the doctors of the Spanish Federation -seeing that the player has been named to Spain’s Euro squad- that Cesc’s injury needs attention.”
As the doctor explained, Alves is recovering from a broken collarbone and he’ll probably finish recovering in Brazil. “We have another test on Tuesday and, if everything goes according to plan, we’ll make up a plan for him seeing that the player has asked us if he can finish his recovery process in Brazil.”
On Villa, Pruna said that the player “is not in optimal condition to play in the European championship. He’ll be able to work all summer in order to be ready for next season.” He also had some good news about Andreu Fontàs, whose progress has been fantastic. Finally, on Éric Abidal: “he’s following the hospital’s recovery schedule, everything is going according to plan.”
