Tito Vilanova’s team will play their first official League match this coming season against Real Sociedad. The game will take place on the 18th or 19th of August at the Camp Nou. The League will conclude on June 1st, also at Camp Nou, against Màlaga.

FC Barcelona will face a difficult start to the League. After the first match against Real Sociedad, the blaugrana will play away at Osasuna, where they lost last season (3-2). The following match will be a visit by Valencia to the Camp Nou, and in round 4, Barça will travel to Getafe, another pitch in which victory proved elusive last season (1-0). Round 6 sees a visit to the Sánchez Pizjuán and, a week later, on October 7th, the first Clasico of the season will be played against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou. 

The first match between FC Barcelona and city rivals Espanyol will take place in January, with the return leg at the Cornellà-El Prat the penultimate game of the season.

The date of the Copa del Rey final has also been announced: 18 May 2013.
