Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma celebrates his 25th birthday today, July 28th, 2012.

Born in Tenerife, Pedro joined the Barça youth system when he was 17. He was part of the reserve team that Pep Guardiola led to promotion in 2007-08. He debuted for the first team on 12th January 2008 and impressed enough in his performances as a substitute to earn promotion to the first team. In his breakthrough season, he performed an unprecedented feat of scoring in 6 different competitions in the same year. The striker of FC Barcelona and Spain’s national team has won three League titles, two Champions Leagues, two Copa del Reys, three Spanish Supercups, two UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups, as well as the World Cup and European Championship with Spain.
