FC Barcelona’s preseason continues to take shape. The fourth friendly for Barça will be played on August 8 (20:00) at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenberg (Sweden) against Manchester United.

In this manner, the meeting between Barça and United will mimic the finals of the Champions League in 2009 and 2011. These two finals serve up happy memories for fans of the blaugrana, who claimed their third and fourth European Cups on those two occasions. The two teams also met last summer, in a preseason friendly won by the English side (2-1).

There is still one date on the calendar yet to be settled, with a friendly scheduled for August 11th, though the details have not yet been announced as to the opponent or location.
