First training session of the day
FC Barcelona continues to prepare for the first leg of the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey against Valencia (Wednesday at 21:00) with two training sessions this Tuesday. The first session was held on Tuesday morning with 22 players working under Guardiola, namely the 14 available players from the first team and 8 players from Barça B: Isaac Cuenca, Jonathan dos Santos, Tello, Sergi Roberto, Marc Bartra, Marc Muniesa, Montoya, and Rodri. Injured players Pedro, Iniesta, Afellay, Villa worked in the gym as they continue working on their respective recoveries.
The team will return this afternoon for a second session, at 18:00, also in Sant Joan Despí. Afterwards there will be a press conference with coach Pep Guardiola.
Of special note is the fact that by this evening’s training session, Isaac Cuenca will officially be a member of the first team after signing his new contract at 16:30. We’ll have more about that here at totalBarça later today, so please stay tuned.

i think hes scheduled to be back in April, hopefully sooner. Miss him too … well got to admit I like the bits about Ibi and Villa working on their recoveries in the gym
His pace will be greatly appreciated! He will get alot more playing time and hopefully improve! I remember when he rocked Madrid, something he can surely do again!

In the last "el clasico" we got tired much because of the PINTO obstinacy of Pep. He is not a goalkeeper for Barça.
He is in our team just because he is a friend of Messi. Valdes must play in such important matches, Pinto does NOT deserve to play on the contrary that Pep says, we lost the Copa Del Rey last season since he conceded the goal where the ball came "over" him!
Jadedness remaining from the mad-rid match affected us in Villarreal match!

Tello should be promoted. Brings something different to the team which is always a good thing.

Tello should be promoted but not this year. He should make get some minutes but definitely not in the regular. You bring a kid too fast in the team who are young and it will be another Giovanni, Bojan story. Let them get regular football and bring them towards the end of certain game.
A youngster if he messes up a big game will never recover..too much pressure.

We must start playing away matches with full throtthle, and without expirimenting Adriano and Alaves in attack, they are not attackers, they can't move like strikers, they don't have directness like Tello, Villa… This team is playing too slow, comparing to last year, neither is pressuring in the midfield enough. The other thing is, that when Iniesta is fit, he must play in the middle, not at LW position. I think the team has lost it because Fabregas is playing deeper than Iniesta. Iniesta must play beside Xavi, and end of story, put Fabregas in attacking position, away from midfield, he is losing balls, and misplacing passes, he was great before he was moved to midfield, for that reason I haven't seen Xaviesta connection this season, not yet.

in fact, we always want every player in the team to be able to play in the match, special the younger, but we also should understand the coaches for their formation, maybe many times they want to give the younger chances but it still depends on the which the oponent is and the situation in each match, dear:)
