FC Barcelona’s first team will return to work this coming Monday, July 16. The first day of activity will be dedicated to completing various medical tests. A total of 14 players are expected at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper: Dani Alves, Villa, Alexis, Messi, Thiago, Pinto, Mascherano, Afellay, Adriano, Cuenca, Fontàs, Bartra, Dos Santos, and Muniesa. As for Carles Puyol, who has spent recent weeks working on his recovery, he will join the squad in training beginning on Monday, July 23.

Training will begin on Tuesday (the 17th) and a group of players from Barça B will work with the first team.
