First session focused on Sevilla

FC Barcelona’s first team returned to training this Tuesday afternoon, with the players and coaches turning their focus to the next League match on Saturday, against Sevilla at the Sánchez Pizjuán. If the blaugrana win on the weekend, the team will equal its best start in the competition, with 18 points out of 18 possible. The squad, which has enjoyed two days off following the victory against Granada at the Camp Nou this past Saturday (2-0), has begun to work on the first of three games that the team will play over the course of a little more than a week.

Taking part in today’s session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, which began at 19:00, were all of the available members of the first team, along with Cristian Tello and Sergi Roberto, from Barça B.

Adriano, who was substituted during last Saturday’s match as a precaution with a muscular injury, trained on the sidelines apart from his team-mates. Puyol, Iniesta, and Piqué trained in the gym, with each player working on recovering from his particular injury.

The next training session will be on Wednesday, beginning at 10 am, also at the Ciutat Esportiva.
