This Saturday at midday, Barça held its final training session ahead of Espanyol’s visit this evening (21:00). Working at the normal pace behind closed doors at the Camp Nou were 15 players from the first team, including Xavi. Isaac Cuenca, for his part, continued to receive treatment, and along with Alexis Sánchez, is a doubt for tonight’s game. Only a few minutes before kick-off will it be determined if he can play because of a bruised right ankle.

Completing the group were three players from the reserves: Tello, Bartra, and Montoya. Gerard Piqué continued working on his own.

After the session, the barcelonista squad dined together at the Camp Nou and, afterwards, will have free time until an hour and a half before the derbi, when they are due back at the stadium.
