Josep Guardiola has named his 19 player squad for this Sunday’s duel in Vallecas. The coach has called up the 16 available members of the first team (everyone except his injured players: Fontàs, Villa, Abidal, Piqué, and Xavi) along with Montoya, Bartra, and Tello from Barça B. Before the match, one player will have to be discarded from those available on the bench.

Before unveiling the squad list, Barça’s first team trained this Saturday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, in what was the team’s final session before Sunday’s game in Madrid. Working during the session were the same 19 players who will make the trip to face Rayo Vallecano.

The squad will travel to Madrid on Sunday morning, leaving the Camp Nou at 10:15, with an expected arrival time of noon at Barajas airport in the Spanish capital. Barça, after playing the match which begins at 21:30 in Vallecas, will return to Barcelona.
