Alexis Sánchez’s return to group training was the big news emerging from Tuesday’s training session. The Chilean player, who picked up bruising to his left thigh during the Liga match against Rayo Vallecano (0-7), reappeared this afternoon, 15 days later, in the squad’s first training session following Saturday’s final league match of the season against Betis (2-2). Now, Barça can turn its full attention to the Copa del Rey final on May 25th.
In addition to the return of Alexis Sánchez, who missed matches against Màlaga, Espanyol, and Betis, the session involved the rest of the available members of the first team as well as Bartra, Montoya, and Tello from Barça B. The group worked with the ball that will be used during the King’s Cup final at the Vicente Calderón stadium.
