As FC Barcelona’s official website has announced, the Club and Belarusian player Alexander Hleb (30) have reached an agreement for the early termination of the player’s contract, which was scheduled to end on June 30, 2012.

Hleb joined Barça in the summer of 2008 from Arsenal, playing a total of 35 matches with the first team during the 2008-09 season (18 in the League, 9 in the Champions League, and 8 in the Copa del Rey), when the blaugrana won the treble in Guardiola’s first season as coach. Afterwards, the player left Barcelona for loan spells with Stuttgart, Birmingham City and Wolfsburg.
