FC Barcelona’s versatile defender Adriano Correia made it clear this weekend that he sees his future in Barcelona, assuming that he has a role to play in the new squad assembled by Tito Vilanova. In fact, in the face of interest from big clubs like Bayern and Milan, Adriano and his agent Paulo Affonso will meet with Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta on Monday to work out the details of the coming season, and to perhaps initiate a new deal that would bind the player to the club beyond his current contract which expires in 2014.
