Abramovich rumored to target Guardiola
Roman Abramovich, Russian billionaire and owner of Chelsea FC, is rumored to be targeting Pep Guardiola for a post in London following Sunday’s sacking of Andre Villas-Boas. The Portguese manager had been hanging from a thread following a string of unimpressive results, and was finally let go after yet another defeat on Saturday. Guardiola must certainly head the list of possible replacements, and although many rumors are flying in the Twittersphere and in English tabloids, no concrete evidence has yet been offered to shore up the claims of Abramovich’s interest. However, Guardiola will surely be tempted by the Russian’s deep pockets.
Put yourselves in Guardiola’s shoes: would you be tempted by an adventure in London?
