  3. Dan says:

    Cesc's second goal was sexy

  4. HOSSAM says:

    *Match* ;)

  5. Steve says:

Xavi is amazing. He makes those passes look easy and obvious.

Gotta note that Madrid will have to play the return leg with a full strength squad; Malaga are only down a goal and have 2 away goals. Barca can afford to rest players. Small thing, but small things can matter.

  6. Mercury_FCB says:

Great performance. I just love this team. Puyol, Xavi, Cesc, Messi, Alves…all of them played so well today. Scary thing is that we almost did not feel absence of the players like Iniesta or Villa. For me this is the strongest Barcelona team ever and I have seen really strong sides during my entire life.

    • trinibarca.4.life says:

imagine if pep didnt give away eto…..

      • Steve says:

Don't be an ass. Eto'o wanted to go, and there's no point in trying to hang onto players who want to leave. This Barca side is great not only because the players are great, but because the players are truly committed to the side: they want to play for Barca.

        • nadir says:

Eto'o wanted to go? Wasn't he forced to leave or something like that? I recall that Eto'o was very happy in Barca, and having just won the treble, I'd think it would be hard to leave.

          • pillow boy says:

steve was right. He was right. I think the dressing room atmosphere was not too good with deco, roni and etoo whom Pep feel werent committed enough and were lack of motivation. Pep sold the first two and kept etoo for a year before both parties agreed on the transfer of etoo to inter milan.

          • cruyffish says:

Yes Steve and Pillow boy are both correct. Pep's instincts were almost perfectly honed at that point. He had one last miscalculation in him I believe and that was Ibra's good would outweigh his bad. I am praising Pep like crazy in awe of his instincts and brilliance. Look where he's gotten Barca..it's unbelievable. He's won almost every trophy possible.

          • HieiFCB says:

            totally agree about Pep!

Ibra wasn't that much trouble when he was in Barca, just when he left: he started to say alot of shit.

        • Reasonus says:

What would Eto'o add to this lineup? Now Messi is the man in the center and I doubt Eto'o on the wings could do any better than Villa. Eto'o is a top class striker, but he doesn't allow for the fluidity that Masia kids can pull off. Cesc's versatility at the moment is a far more valuable asset.

Sanchez also looks promising and if he develops and adapts well, he can offer so much to the team given that he is very skilled on the ball. Cuenca is also one for the future. If Bojan develops well, he can come back and become another goal scorer. Up until this point, it's not very likely, he should have left a year before, but the potential and drive are still there, he just needs guidance and playing time.

      • trinibarca.4.life says:

all of you are just broadcasting your idiocy…pep himself said the transfer was based on a "feeling' worst transfer in footballing history is what it was

        stop living in denial idiots

    • Lejda says:

Our boys really made a great start to the New Year… awesomeness!!!! I had missed our boys playing during the holidays..
I couldnt watch the first half of the game and the beginning of 2nd, but from what I saw on the second half, in addition to Xavi, Cesc, Puyi, Alves, Messi…all being amazing…I want to add that Mascherano was a beast as well… He didnt put a foot wrong, but it seems to go unnoticed. Well done Mascheno!! I think he is one of the reasons we have kept clean sheets for so long in Camp Nou, given that Puyi was injured in the beginning of the season..

      • cruyffish says:

Yes to Lejda and Reasonus also!. Pep and La Masia are so good they can hand pick brilliant players without any potential negative baggage. One of the many reasons big-spending, desperate-to-beat-us Madrid cant: Quality+Chemistry+Unity= Absolute dominance! Eto'o was/is awesome but his time here had passed and Pep had the vision and courage to see that.

  7. Re u guys 4getin about leo’s performans

    • shubhi1culegirl says:

nope. He was Brilliant as usual…people don't need to mention it everytime now….it's understood!;)

  8. Pele says:

Neymar is better because he can score with his head

    • Harshawardhan says:

      Hehhee… ofcourse he is..

    • Write_theFuture says:

Messi is not a complete player because he cannot score with his head on a cold winter night in stoke while sporting a Ronaldo-type haircut and having his name legally changed to Cristiano Ronaldo and having a portuguese passport and a popped collar and a mole next to his lip.

    • jerzdeep says:

Yes Pele whatever you say because you are no doubt the best player in the history of this sport and the most intelligent as well looking at how your predictions always came true right?

  9. Sebanovic says:

    @Write_TheFuture

    Brilliant!

  10. Stlucian_Cule18 says:

thought Leo was suppose 2 be out of the game..almost commended Pep for keeping him out but what do we have there lol this guy does not want 2 sit on the bench for long. Xavi played brilliantly along with Cesc and Messi.. I believe if Messi started he would have scored 3 easily. but great game guys. Keep it up. Visca el Barca..get well soon Villa and Afellay

  11. malaysia says:
