    Great game champs. Everyone picked their tempo up. Kudos to Pinto for denying valencia a come back. Messi's pass was a work of art. Cesc was sharper tonite; and Tello deserved more than the measly 3 minutes on the pitch. Come on guys, now that the finals is secured, let's catch up to those jerks!!!

    Cesc plays much better when he's part of the front 3 rather than the midfield 3..had a hand in both goals and played a very good game!

      He was making runs forward much like Iniesta, the front 3 were consistently made up of Cuenca, Alexis, and Leo. Both him and Iniesta are better in midfield with occasional runs forward, especially when Messi drops deep. Midfield is key for Barcelona and without another playmaker besides Xavi, we lose much of our effectiveness.

    People need to leave Fabregas alone… the guy is a genius, two bad games and the world is singing chants…
    BOLD STATEMENT – Folks have a soft spot for Alexis. The guy is just not influencing games…. I understand he has some nice runs and puts in maximum effort, but he just doesnt get it right. I could count how many dribbles he has made so far…. I am not saying Alexis is bad, infact, i like him as a player very much, BUT IF IT WAS CESC IN HIS PLACE, the microphones will be out

      not a bold statement, a stupid one. you must be one of those guys who judge football performances on goals and assist. i put you right next to tommy smyth from press pass. Please watch sanchez more carefully to see why barca fans like him so much.

      Who is the world you talking about, don't include everyone because of a few fans. Maybe they have been comments wanting him in the front 3 rather than the midfield but few fans have said he is a waste signing. that's not the whole world my friend. if you have a grudge against certain people then call them out.

      That second goal would have been almost impossible had anyone else been in Sanchez's place. He doesn't influence games? Indeed, your statement is not bold, it's completely baseless and charged with irrational emotions at best.

    Alexis did the Pinto hand shake.:* This was a good game, very exciting, end to end stuff and Puyol man, that overhead kick to save the goal was magesterial must have practised mid week, lol.

      Puyol is an absolute rock. He wasn't kidding when he said he wants to continue for many years to come. How many years was it?

    pinto and fab showed alot of people wrong today. yes they might not be as good as valdes, or xavi/iniesta… but both are fantastic in their position.

    cesc in particular has time on his hands to adjust to the barca game. lets be patient and more good will come :)

      Cesc is great, he's having a good season so far but Pinto is still far behind Valdes. He's far more error prone and mistakes by keepers can easily cost you a championship. He can be great for other teams, but for Barcelona, where many attacks are one-on-ones, Valdes is the best not only in Spain, but in the world.

    i am sure fabregas will come good next year and onwards – he still is – but dont you guys think alexis just isnt the class of barcelona, he works incredible hard and that is important but still i feel barca youngsters will be better than him

      Neither Cuenca nor Tello have Sanchez's ball control and balance. His passing is subpar, but I have not been this happy with a new signing in a long time.

    enezx sorry freind but you are wrong alexis is a worldclass player,he just need time to find out how to play the new barca style,last year he was the best player in italy so of corse he is good enogh for barca.
    he also been much injuied this year next year he will be much better belive me.

    Harsha, I was eagerly waiting for your 10plus minutes highlights, but both the videos you posted today are blocked. My speed was really bad yesterday, I had missed a lot of minutes on the web stream.

    But I am lucky to have seen that Messi pass. That man has a third eye.

    Sure they can be defeated, especially in April and May, when opponents like Santander and Villareal and Sociedad are fighting for their lives to stay in the top league; and when Athleti and malaga and Levante and Atletico are fighting for berths in CL and Europa league. They only have to tie twice and lose in Camp Nou and the title is ours (assuming we are flawless from here on)
