    My vote goes to Mascherano.

    • MesQueUnClub says:

Official: Busquets has a lacerated contused wound at his right knee that needs stitches. Availability depends on the evolution of the injury, note: a lacerated contused wound would be a wound in which the tissues are torn but the bone is not damaged #fcblive – Barcastuff, this is sad I hope it's not really bad

  2. IBES says:

    Mascherano I guess.

  3. Mill says:

    Tello was great!

    • Arvine says:

Tello played a good game with lots of pace, but sometimes overplayed and his moves were monotone and repetitive, and his positioning also needs improvement. Masch deserved MoM without a doubt.

  4. HieiFCB says:

    DosSantos motM…
It looked like a 'kid' had to control the midfield for us.
Fabregas and Thiago just doesn't seem to step up….
Thiago played better in the 2nd half though.

    • Fenderek says:

      You're kidding, right?
He was probably the worst on the field. His passes were all over the place. He was good in getting the ball back- but was the main reason we were losing it in the first place.

      • Not Motm but he was one of the brighter players out there for sure. In the first half he sprayed passes out with great accuracy. Second half he did well too showed him long range passing and made some great crosses

        • alexis says:

J dos is the calmest player i’ve ever seen. His leg is a resting place for the ball when he picks up a pass. His tackle, his passes and combination with Thiago is the future. He and Thiago made us miss Xavi less, Cesc sure can’t pass than them. If busquets was 27-30 years he’ll replace him. He is/will replace Keita well

    • o O says:

      DS kicked ass

  5. _Lily says:

My vote is for Tello, but his terrific game has been overshadowed by Busquets' injury for me. I'm very worried, and I hope it doesn't turn out to be too serious. We can't afford to lose Busi.

    • Tank says:

I hope so too. But it looked very, very bad….

      • Tank says:

FCB live saying that catalan radio has reported that it isn't that bad…hope it's true

        • molecule says:

The collision didn't look like it should have resulted in bone or ligament injuries. Busi was hit just under his knee, where the bone is very strong, and his leg wasn't twisted in any way. The pictures afterward were kind of scary looking, though, and he was obviously in a lot of pain.

  6. TRUETHIOBARCAFAN says:

    mascherano all day

  7. _D10S_ says:

    Mascherano or Tello…

  8. Marc4barca says:

I wish there was an option for the fans. Even though barca has been poor for majority of the season they come out and support. Even though messi has had a bad second half of the season so far they chant his name. Barca fans, give yourself a pat on the back, you deserve it. Barca forever and ever.

Since there isn't a fan option, i'll go with either Tello or Mascherano. Tello speed is frightening and he knows how to use it, depth finish which a lot of our forwards are missing these days. Mascherano calm as ever at the back, dealt with everything, obviously except for the goal.

2 or 3 more games till Ini returns. I'm excited.

  9. Arvine says:

Either Mascherano or Puyol! I choose Mascherano!

  10. Barcelona4ever says:

Barcelona has NOT been poor the majority of the season, I believe we only lost 1 game, and all those draws have been due to bad luck and some bad finishing..

  11. santu says:

    karma is a bitch busquets
    glory united

  12. Reasonus says:

Tello for sure, especially in the first half. Cesc's perforamnce was abysmal and he's been bad for a while now. Thiago as a Xavi successor is an illusion. He's a good player, but I'm certain he is incapable of dictating tempo and making himself available at all times similar to Xavi. But to be fair, even Iniesta can't fill Xavi's shoes. But still, Thiago should be more patient.

Puyol and Victor were terrific. From the way Puyol ventured forward, it's obvious he wants to give a boost to the team. Captain Carles was great and Victor made some excellent saves.

Messi had a great assist and a good goal, but it doesn't change the fact that he was ridiculously wasteful today. He missed chances many would score. For God's sake, he rounded a keeper and still failed to score.

Cuenca was almost nonexistent. dos Santos was our best midfielder. Although his contribution to the forwards wasn't that spectacular, his defensive work was commendable.

    Again, damn Cesc was bad!

Sergio's injury looked like a fracture. Any news?

  13. bob says:

    Tello, hands down

  14. _Lily says:

Via barcastuff: "Busquets would only need stitches."

Via barcastuff: "The club can't yet give a n estimation of the time of recovery."

Via barcastuff: "Busquets could be able to play on Wednesday."

I hope this turns out to be less serious than it looked…

  15. felix durumbah says:

Good riddance to bad Sociedad rubbish. We're through with them for this season. Sociedad are one of those shit teams who cut our points and by so doing made Madrid look as if they are superstars!I'm very, very happy they are leaving Nou Camp EMPTY-HANDED.

  16. david says:

mascheano or tello….i feel bad its the 3 time in row that my mom goes to defender…

  17. Kwame says:

Messi needs to be rested. He is fatigued. If he continues this way without resting he might cost us. He seems to be trying to overdo things. He's not himself anymore. He gets the assists and all but his effeciency has been cut down significantly due to fatigue. I love Messi but I can't stand CR7 fans seeing him like this and calling him overrated. Even like this, he is still better than most players but we need him to be firing on all cylinders.

Tello was a beast. He takes his time on the ball and only tries his cut-in runs when there isn't much pressure on him and there are Barca players in the 18 yard box. He should be given lots of playing time. Cuenca did not impress me today. Machete(Mascherano) was also great.

    • AyaFCB says:

just tell CR7's Fans to F**k off.. why they are so concerned with Messi if he is overrated!!
they forgot how many goals he scored in Casillas.. they do not deserve your time replying to them so just tell them to F**k off..

      • felix durumbah says:

@ Kwame: ask those CRwhateva fans that where was he when national team coaches, captains and select journalists worldwide gave Messi World Best 3 times in a row? Did CR not not play football in each of those seasons? Shoe has size plsssss.

    • serko1 says:

it's not just because he plays bad, the more he pushes himself, the bigger the chance of permanent damage or injuries because his reaction time and agility are considerably less, he'll have more trouble dodging dangerous tackles, or due to exhaustion of certain tendons/muscles, they could more easily rip or damage, cause of fatigue. But it seems Guardiola prefers to play russian roulette with his best player… If Messi refuses to rest, then someone needs to force him, so the ball is at Pep.

  18. matoe says:

He can play on wednesday against Valencia.

Karma? LOL. What are u talkin about? Busquets gets more hacks in the world, probably only Messi gets fouled and hacked more during games.

  19. AyaFCB says:

Tello is my man though Mascherano and Puyol were great.. I really like Tello he is fast and creative and that pass for Messi should have been a goal.. he made alot of great runs..
I don't know what to say about Messi. in his worse shape he manages to get the team an assist and a goal.. but I am still with the very fact that he needs a rest badly because he lost two certain goals today and he is not himself anymore.. it is so apparent that he is fatigued and tired.. Rest him Pep please we want our Messi back..

  20. Barcs says:

    Tello= Star in the making
He is like the new henry…
Stand with the ball than burst with his speed
    Awesum

  21. Ostap says:

Why was Puyol substituted? It looked like he asked to go off. Is he OK?

  22. xavi hahaha says:

I'm so happy Pep did not play Xavi at all. Back to back matches without given a single minute, I think that's definitely not because he's tired but some sort of punishment for him and let him to have all the time on the bench to reflect on what wrong he has done( he's not passing to Messi particularly those final passes ). Pep is basically asking him to think whether he still wants to play for the TEAM or for the BALLON D'OR. Have you all seen those two beautiful passes Thiago made for Messi? We DON'T see that from Xavi anymore!

  23. serko1 says:

why do my comments suddenly need moderation?

  24. Barca_4ever says:

    Tello and Masch for me..

  25. XavierHernandezCREUS says:

Cristian Tello Herrera was the man of the match, his acceleration is amazing!

But I'm bored of the refrees who do not punish the handballs played by our opponents! It is becoming too frequent these days and I am really angry about it!

In Getafe- (mad)rid match, the refree did not punish the pepe(monster)'s handball with a penalty which was a 100 % clear penalty. This has been becoming repeatedly often and I am really bored!

  26. nadir says:

TELLO was amaaaaazing!!! It's too bad nobody's there to put his great passes in the net. Someone need to get an understanding with Tello.

  27. José says:

Great game by the canteranos dos Santos tello and Cuenca specially tello what speed and control of the ball Henry like finished my vote goes to our captain he shows the heart of this team great example to the team

  28. Cule_999 says:

Come on Guys! Give Victor, some love too ! How can we forget V V in this match?

Tello was fantastic and so were Masch and Puyi….But V V was our savior, for if it wasn't for him , this could, easily have been another draw at the very least.

    • Ike says:

on VV twitter he posted a pic of him and tello. that was pretty cool of him and praise him for his first goal with the first team

  29. Murali says:

I hope Messi returns to his mesmerizing best against Valencia. It was a bit weird to see him taking a selfish shot instead of passing to the free Tello on one instant :| I have never ever seen him doing that. Maybe he hasn't played with Tello enough to see what he can do with that crazy pace of his. But then again, even on an off day, he scored an almost impossible angle goal!

  30. Claudio says:

How can peopnot essi is not on form? Look at his incredible assists in the last 4 games. So he missed a penalty, so what. We are too spoilt having him. He gets marked and hacked by so many defenders and he keeps fighting…some comments I have read even suggested he sometimes looks disinterested. Wow, what must e do too keep some ungrateful morons happy.

  31. desicule says:

how can forget VV and his 2 insane one on one saves……they were more critical than anything else…

  32. Daniel says:

i was not impresed with de performance b/n RSD sth is happening L. Messi he shuld find sln b4 our next crucial matches,de shots are not pwful, targets 2 failn. Barca no sizeeeee. Congratulations
