to be honest with the type of players cesc gets to play with those stats don't mean THAT much. stats do not tell the whole story. Cesc is a flawed player that as of now isn't showing more talent than Thiago would who is much younger than him and a lot less experienced.

Am I the only one who thinks that this CL is a pure joke?

Almost like la Liga this season.

Nobody of the left teams can match either us or Real Madrid. It's almost like in la Liga.
I thought, before today, MAYBE Milan can put up a fight and with a little luck eliminate us or EE. But they were so pathetic at Arsenal, I don't see them beating us or EE. Same goes for Bayern, who are in a slump.
And the other teams left in the CL are not even worldclass.

It is INEVITABLE that at one stage, we will have to lock horns with Real Madrid. And that will decide whether our season is a fail or a success.

Honestly, if the terrible happens and Barca loses, the Basque fans celebrating in Madrid will help to soothe the wounds nicely. Athletic Bilbao have the same regional pride that Barcelona have – I don't think that Madrid are keen on either one of us.
