Before their match with Alcorcón this past weekend, Luis Enrique showed his team a motivational video, comprised of old images of Barça B games, mixed with moves and goals from the current team, edited by the coaching staff. Apparently the video must have worked, as the team won 2-0, with goals from Jonathan Soriano and Nolito.

The video begins with images of Guardiola and Carles Puyol in their days in the Barça B team and also includes images of other players from the current first team squad, playing in the Miniestadi, during their time in the B team.

These old images gave way to a series of spectacular moves and goals from the current Barcelona B team. The video ends with some enlightening graphics: “Our goal is to be the best B Team ever”.

The B team is poised to do just that, aiming to finish higher than 6th in the standings. They are currently in 4th, 10 points behind league leaders Rayo Vallecano.
