I don't think Abidal will start in the final. In my view, the perfect defense is:

Alves – Piqué – Puyol – Adriano

- Alves: No questions asked, he's the man, that's all there is to it
- Puyol & Piqué: Possibly the best CB team out there, again, not much to think about
- Adriano: I think we need a fast, endlessly running man for this match, so in my view, Adriano should start. Also, Abidal is not in top form yet, so it would be an unnecessary risk to have him start.

Midfield is a much more difficult situation: Busi or Masch? I would say Masch: he has been one of the top performers this season, and helped out the team greatly, GREATLY this year, especially during the last 1-2 months with all the injuries, he has played everywhere in midfield and defense. I think he has earned his place for this final. Also, he has lots of experience against MU.

Mascherano – Iniesta – Xavi

Forward: Not much to think about, I'd say:

10.The continuous mind games – (he confused himself in the end)

I’ll be shouting as loud as anyone on Saturday for Barca. We do not have to prove anything, but it would be so nice to rub the noises of the “Dark Side” and manu in it once again.

I’m in the UK and I’m getting fed up of the press and manu players saying what they are going to do and that revenge will be so sweet.

I hope we pass them to death and strike at the heart of defence.

I'm a little undecided about who should start at LB. It depends on Abidal's form. If Abidal isn't at his best, the obvious option is Adriano, who was doing great until his injury, and who did very well yesterday. Based on the last few matches, and the fact that we still have another week of training, I think Abidal will start. But it's pretty obvious to me that Busquets will start ahead of Mascherano.
