Stat of the Day: Lots and lots of goals

After the round of matches this weekend, where Barcelona put five past Mallorca, the team has now collectively scored 496 times under manager Pep Guardiola. During this time, Lionel Messi leads the scoring charts with 157 tallies, followed by Pedro [48],  Eto’o [36], Henry and Villa [30], Bojan [29] and Xavi [26].

In Barcelona’s 16 official matches this season, Messi has now scored 19 times. Looking even deeper, Messi is now on 103 goals in his last 100 appearances for the club. Amazing.
