Due to the absence of the internationals for their various commitments with their national teams, the players of the first team who remain in Barcelona have trained this Wednesday morning, for the second time this week, with Barça B.

Barça has this Wednesday, beginning at 11am and on pitch no. 2 of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, held the second of four sessions planned for this week. These training sessions, for about the next week, will be marked by the absence of up to 14 players that are working with their national teams.

This is why the four players that remain in Barcelona –Iniesta, Maxwell, Pinto and Fontàs- have exercised for the second consecutive day with the team directed by Eusebio Sacristán.

In the case of Javier Mascherano, who this Tuesday worked in the gym, and who is suspended for Argentina’s game against Chile on October 7, he has already traveled to joined the ‘albiceleste’. The player will be available for Argentina’s next match during this international break, against Venezuela.

The members of the first team remaining in the city will have two more training sessions this week, scheduled on both Thursday and Friday for 11am. Then these players will enjoy three days off before returning to training next Tuesday.
