Preparations begin for Milan
Barça trained this Sunday morning to begin preparing for their Champions League match on Tuesday against AC Milan. Joining the first team were 4 players from the reserves.
After the 2-2 draw at Anoeta, the team met early on Sunday morning to work on recovering from their efforts on Saturday and to start thinking ahead to Milan. The starters against Real Sociedad have undergone, as is usual, a recovery session. Additionally, four reserve players joined the first team session: Oriol Rosell, Lobato, Gustavo and Masip, who haven’t be called up by Eusebio for the B team’s match with Deportivo on Sunday afternoon.
The training started with a group circle on pitch no. 2 of the Ciutat Esportiva, in which the squad had the opportunity to give good wishes to Éric Abidal on his 32nd birthday. The session took place with the ball for the Champions League.
Barça will return to training on Moday at 19:15 at the Camp Nou. Before the session, Andrés Iniesta will appear at a press conference and afterwards it will be coach Guardiola’s turn to face the media.

Somebody suggested on the barcablog that the shirt number 9 is cursed and should not be used in Barca. It seems Udinesse will not get a lot of variables for Sanchez this year.

no smiling faces on training. A good thing, that means everyone is focused and back with both feet on the ground.
I think they want to show the world that what happend on Saturday was just an accident and that it will never happen again. AC Milan will be demolished for shure. Mark my words. Probably a manita. Im confident Barca will send a clear message to Madrid.

you do realize you're most vulnerable where you don't expect. You want Barcelona to let their guard down in the CL group stages? are you crazy? Barcelona should be looking to tie up the group stages as soon as possible with at least 4 wins and a draw out of 6 games
Shame really cuz part of your argument is right. We can afford to drop points in CL as I think we can beat anyone over 2 leg in Europe, and so coming second in the group won't hinder us that much and also we have 4 relatively easy games in CL.
However to criticize Pep who is now considered to be the best coach around is simply naive. We are currently going through the most fertile period, both in trophies and player quality, in Barca's history thanks to him.
In Pep we trust.

I'm glad to see the team back training again. They look so serious and kinda down beat coz of yesterday (so they should)but, i'm sure they will bounce back.;). I don't think they will win Milan with a manita but, i'm sure they will try and win convincingly. They played well last year after a dissapointing start, so hope the trend continues.
Some of the people criticising Pep should have a cold shower. If Alexis wasn't injured or the tackler got a red card (as he deserved), Barcelona would have waltzed home. But sometimes, you can do everything right and your luck is bad. Move on.

The team made a big mistake. As a result Barca drew and lost 2 points. But unless someone here has a time machine, we can't change this and as fans we need to move on.
Pep is intense and takes the AC Milan game, like every game, very seriously. There is focus, but the team plays best when the feet are "happy." Again, I chose to have faith in Pep to give a solid lineup and for the team to want to deliver a great performance for themselves and for their fans.

All cules in the house should relax. We cant be wining always.
We lost at home to Hercules 2nd match of the last season match, which means draw is even better. We lost as a result of selection and back pass mistakes. This is good in the early of the season, and we all learned our lessons.
Support these team, a true cules don't criticize anybody because we are all human being.
Let go … Barca against Milan, let show to world we are still the best.

im confident we can win as long as we have the right intensity, putting milans players under constant pressure, abit like the great performance against arsenal in the ucl at the emirates (the 2-2).
the eight weeks is like a prison sentence……i so miss alexis already.
