This morning, FC Barcelona forward Pedro Rodríguez has signed a contract extension that keeps him at the club until June 30, 2016, with a buyout clause of 150 million. “This is great news. I am very happy to have renewed again,” he declared to Barça TV and the club’s official site.

The forward, who scored 45 goals in the last two seasons and was on the score sheet at the final at Wembley, has not yet run out of the desire to win. “You can always improve. Besides, I think the team each year is more attuned and more united. We have a better relationship and that is reflected on the field,” he affirmed.
