As the official FCB website reports, Carles Puyol has suffered a hamstring contracture in the left leg and was replaced as a precaution by Keita. The Captain, who recently recovered from a knee injury, played for the first time since January 23rd and was included  in the starting 11. After a very complete performance in the blaugrana defense, the player requested the change in the 58th minute of the game.

At the press conference after el clasico, Pep Guardiola said: “It was a very big effort for him and he has a strange feeling in the hamstring. It is not a serious injury and we hope that Carles will recover for the next games.”

Meanwhile, Adriano Correia has suffered a contraction in the soleus of the left leg and was substituted for Maxwell at the 80th minute.
