Ganso: “I would love to play for them for just one game”
Ganso, the celebrated young playmaker from Santos, tried his best to hide his disappointment in the wake of the 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in an interview with TV3. Pundits have written their general assessment about the game, and the majority of them have questioned Ganso’s lack of work rate in defense that in turn forced Neymar to track back, limiting Santos’ option on the break.
After the disappointing performance that was largely due to Santos’ inability to hold any kind of ball possession and the unfamiliar formation employed by Ramalho, the 22-year-old confessed that he was very impressed with the current Barcelona team.
”I do not aspire to move to Barcelona, but I would love to play for them for just one game,” Ganso said in the interview, before adding, “I just want to know how it feels to play with such fantastic players. They are all amazing players. (Sergio) Busquets is a superb player and so are Xavi and (Andres) Iniesta.”
