Four players called up to Spain U-20
Four blaugrana youngsters have been called up to the Spain Under-20 side for a few days of training to take place from the 14th to the 16th of March at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas in Madrid. The players called up are Marc Muniesa and Cristian Tello from the Barça B squad, along with Sergi Gómez and Javier Espinosa from Juvenil A. With four, Barcelona has the highest number of players called up from a single club. Additionally, Martí Riverola, currently on loan at Vitesse, has also been called to the U-20 side. Its weird that players like Bartra, Montoya, Ilie, Sergi Roberto or even Planas are not called!!!
i only know that he has only played two match i kinda thought it would have been better if he ent on loan in Spain to a segunda A team
i think this is just to look at some young bloodz that may be capable of making the main team which will play in the world cup and contains thiago, montoya,bartra, planas, rochina etc.
Bartra just turned 20, Montoya is about to turn 20 next month, Ilie is 20, Sergi Roberto still plays for U-19 and Planas is 20 also.
keep working that "cantera " Barca!!! let us enjoy because out of our 11 first team players , Xavi, iniesta, valdez, pique, Puyol, Busquets, messi ( he came later but still was formed in Barca) pedro. these is all our lower divisions. 8 out of 11 from our starting 11 are barca lower divisions boys!!!!!!

Edgar badia was actually an ex la masia player too, but left for espanyol a couple of years ago. Really talented keeper!
He's played the full 90 minutes in the 7 games he started, and he's got an assist. Solid place in the starting 11.
I think thats kind of arrangement between the Barca B team and the U-20 team,they cant take all of their players for only training

Actually Edgar Badia is also a la masia graduate, he left for espanyol 3 years ago. Very talented goalkeeper!

as long as you are born in 1991 you can play in the under 20 world cup and all ofthe players you mentioned were born in 1991 except roberto
