Barcelona’s sparkling performances this season are attracting attention all across the football world. But the achievements of the team, the beautiful way that Barcelona play the game, and the unique way the club is structured, have started to attract attention from outside the normal football world. Case in point: the upcoming cover of Newsweek Magazine which will feature Pep and the boys during their post-Champions League celebrations. The headline that accompanies the photo: Barça! The Best Football Team Ever?

A preview of the cover was featured this weekend at the official Barcelona site, and will hit the streets on June 13. Newsweek is the second largest American news magazine, after Time, and boasts a readership of over 2.5 million globally.
