  2. slick says:

i see what pep saw in him when ya ya was on the bench he is very very good at reading the game so he knw where to be at all point and he is important to our teamand his playing style too well compose and a clean working midfielder very good video too allas

  3. Write_theFuture says:

Brilliant video again Allas, but I guess that's the norm for you :D

Sergio Busquets is disgustingly underrated… he is one of the smartest players today, along with Xavi. The reason why people do not recognize his talent and brilliance is because he does the simple things. And when he does do the difficult, it still looks easy. I wouldn't trade Sergio for any other DM/holding mid in the world. He is one of the best if not the best short passers in the world. He lives and breathes tiki taka. I don't really like to compare players like this, but I would say that he is one of our most important players after our three balon dor candidates, plus MAYBE Alves. Well, Valdes is too, and Pique and Puyol, and Pedro… screw it. The point is, like Pep said, Busquets is immensely important to the team. He never loses possession, he always knows what to do, his defensive positioning is perfect. I suppose one could ask for Xavi/Pep type long passing, Essien/JDS distance shooting, Essien/Yaya superstrength or Mascherano type tackling, but those are all mere bonuses. What Busquets can already do is everything we need to play our game. And he is so damn young too, but plays like a 30 year old- imagine him at that age, how smart and mature he will be. Will retire a Spanish and Barca legend for sure.

yes busi is underated when teams play us the wna stop xavi mesi alvez iniesta pedro villa well ppl who know football what how he helps and make it eazy 4 xavi and iniesta when we play tiki taka

      • Marooon says:

Who to stop!!! Xavi, Messi, Iniesta, Busquets, Villa, Pedro, Fabregas, Thiago, Alves ……. Pep.

        " The Unstoppables "

    • ghostface says:

I agree he is very underrated, sadly. He is also one of my favourite players on the team. You hit the nail on the head when you said he breathes Tiki-Taka; i would go as far as say no one in the world is better at it than him. Also, like you, i wouldn't trade him for anyone else. Lastly, his tactical positioning is second to none and the fludity and the space he creates for xavi, iniesta, messi to operate is unrivaled and that too people overlook. They say all he looks good because of Xavi, Iniesta, but I am sure if you ask Xavi, Iniesta themselves, there's no one they'd rather have holding the mid for them than Busi.

    • Busos says:

Don't worry. Xavi was also in the same underrated position. Remember when the dailymail took a jab at Xavi's being 5th in the player of the year awards – http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article

That wasn't so long ago and look at how high a pedestal everyone puts him on now. Soon enough people will eventually see Busi's brilliance too!

    • Caesarean says:

      love tha comment bro, everyline

    • Burning Witch says:

When there'a an occasion, Busi give long passes, and they're perfect. But you should now there aren't too many opportunities, because we play tiki-taka, not "kick and run", our players are in the middle of the field, not on the wings. Busi can do anything, one of the best players on this planet.

  4. Marooon says:

We might be looking at the beginning of a slightly new Barca playing style, the key is Busquets. Always there have been Xavi the CM + a CDM, what if they where combined ? That leaves us with one extra player with an unprecedented role.

  5. xavier hernandez says:

    THE TALISMAN!
It is obvious that he has learned very much from especially "Xavi the master" and "Iniesta". But there are some unique qualities of him as well in this young age. Pep's words explains everything…

  6. xavier hernandez says:

    ccc allas ccc

  7. arman says:

I hate all the comments that busquets dive alot and barca players also! can sm1 tell me when was barca won a penalty from a dive or when they have won a penalty!! i dnt thnink u can but i can tell u how many di maria and ronaldo had and lately arbeloa! barca players dont dive but they exagerate when sm1 foul them espicially every 3 seconds!

    • barca says:

I hate it too because overall we always deserve to win and this also gives us a bad reputation but we have to admit that against real last year busquets did simulate a couple of times and I was pissed off, I wanted a clean win without all of this. For example, during a contact with a madrid's player he was acting like he was hurt in the face while on the replay he was clearly not, and also when he was down he opened his hands for a brief moment to see if the referee was going to do something and then continued to stay on the ground.

  8. MOE says:

The brilliant diver better micheal phelps

  9. BaobaBol says:

All Barsucklona players are gay and they will never win anything if they didn't pay the stupid referee!

    • TheMessiShow says:

And the wizard of oz won't ever give you a brain

    • LeónDragón dAz says:

it's not proved that barca pays refs, but it's proved that (un)real madrid paid clubs to beat barca, like they offered getafe f.e. some money for a win over barca under laporta…so don't bore us here, as we blaugranas are too proud to waste time for every idiot here, expressing his jealousy…bye bye…

  10. friedchicken says:

Always love your videos explaining stuff. Learning and understanding the game made it much more enjoyable. Im still trying to figure and dissect the games as it goes on, still a nub. The level of involvement when watching Barca is so amazing and loving every moment of it.

  11. HouseMD says:

    An average player… nothing more.

  12. LeónDragón dAz says:

very nice…yes, those who not totally blind can see the worth of busquets, as there are no doubts on his talent, as there are many reasons why also del bosque chose him for the national team…to me, i doubt that he's a diver, as it's just on opponents, that use bodychecks or tackles to cut him off the ball and him, being clever to know to turn it into his favor…when pep said this words, seen on this clip, it's because it's obvious that the game opening starts by busquets…we cqan call us lucky to have so much talent in our squad, and one of them is busquets…

  13. Burning Witch says:

    know :D

  14. Michael says:

these weeks i'm really scared when i consider what players we have. it's the 4th year for pep and year by year our team got stronger in every aspect. despite not winning the cl in the 2nd year, the team was stronger than with eto'o.

as i said, i'm scared and yesterday i watched a compilation of messi & fab and i saw messi losing the ball. i tried to the see that moment from the opposite view as i was a fan of the opponents and then i saw an unstoppable messi, winning the ball back, moving with such a speed towards "our" box and my heart nearly exploded when he came closer and closer to "our" goalkeeper… shot… corner kick… less tension… i'm just HAPPY that i'm a barca fan because it was like a nightmare for the opponents seeing this team passing, creating chances, shooting & scoring

  15. meursault says:

He's the most Xavi-style young player we have, so probably our most important asset after the obvious one. It doesn't bother me if he plays in defence for a while when we still have Xavi (we have the ball so much, we basically play with 7 midfielders anyway), but I would hope that he takes Xavi's place in central midfield when Xavi retires (sob) as the perfect foil to more individually creative midfielders like Iniesta, Thiago and Fabregas.

  16. jordy says:

I hope now that people stop asking themselfs why Touré has to go instead of Sergio :D

  17. chomik2b says:

Three years ago I was argueing with my mate at work abouth wheter or not he is good enough for barca.
He was saying Sergio is rubbish and I told him that he will be the next Guardiola for us…
    Who was right? Who? haha
I was not sure when I said that, but now…
    VeB!!!

  18. winlecule says:

SERGIO B is the next XAVI mark my words.he is more of a teamplay oriented player than iniesta fab n thiago.he is like d maestro himself so although influencial to most buildups others are mostly credited for the game.i can see wat pep is trynna do.SB is surely the one to retire xavi much contrary to everyones expectations.I love pep cause he is the master of disguise.i love the statement they all make THE HARDEST THING IS MAKING IT EASIER,cos the easiest is usually the most effective n d most effective is usually d hardest.Thaats why i defeinitely see barca ruling the world for at least the next ten yrs.BARCA looks easy but everything abt it is complictaed.I LOVE BARCA!!!!

  19. Sempre Barça! says:

    2.45 – 2.52, thats some sweeeeeeeeeeeet passing!!!! :) :):)

  20. LeónDragón dAz says:

totally agree with those, who see him as the next xavi…he definitely has all what it takes to be the ideal replacement…he reads the game well, has a very good control of the ball, superb and intelligent passing, always able to see his teammates, good opening and also able to shield the ball of among opponents…it could be a reason why he has the 1"6" on the shirt lol ;)

    • LeónDragón dAz says:

p.s. also able to play the "last" pass or deadly balls…he's surely one with a bright future, as his presence at the present is already on a high level…

  21. barca says:

before i used to think he wasnt good but now hes sick

  22. Malkeren says:

The future captain of Barca… No doubt about it!

  23. Anonymous says:

The other day a die hard Madridista was heaping praise on Busquets and told me he's incomparable to Khedira or Lass (who never do their job well.)
