Thumbs up if you want allas to make a video of Eric Abidal's development & comeback of this season.
Sorry, I usually don't ask for thumbs up. I just want to pressure allas as high as Barcelona did with all their opponents this season so that he gives us a King Abidal video
Busquets is one damn hell of a genius… He is Peps greatest achievement ever… Now i see why pep loves him excessivley
Great video and really nice music to it!
great work… and i support goope for that Abidal video
Absolutely loved the video!! Thank you so much Allas, youre a gentleman and a scholar
Thanks for the video. Barca totally outclassed Man U. Congrats to Barcelona the whole staff and the fans too.
we outplayed Man U. We didn't outclass them (read their post-match comments).
this season i did learn a lot from barca tactics and i must admit, football is much more than what we see in television. there is so much thinking in the game which we don't consider. the more i watch such videos the more i believe pep is a genius.
I think we should create a password si these videos only gets into the hands of the cules, for obvious reasons. hehehe, very good allas.
Ohh my, I just remembered a comment I wrote a while ago. I was spot on (well not really, but check the second part). Here it is:
I have seen Man Utd last two games extended highlights (against Arsenal and Schalke). ManUtd almost always attacks from the sides using the wings to build up plays. They are not aggressive, but a careful team when they play. Most of their attacks are from either set pieces (Rooney's free kicks and corner kicks ), wing plays (including crossing and heading) , or long shots. I am sure Pep will put Puyol as a left back not a cb, at least I hope he does.
ManUtd defending style is what makes my day. They keep pulling back, they don't pressure. They leave the sides open, rather their defense stays in the middle of the box. With Messi's genius, I believe he can score goals from the line of the box, long shooting training is essential for this match. Also both Pedro and Dani (though Dani might not attack much) will enjoy attacking from the right wing. I think our way to play is, control control control, Messi dribbles, long shots. control, control, control, low out of the box cross, shoot. I can see Barca winning if they are focus. A genius wining plan in my opinion, which needs Abidal to be fit, is to play Puyol as a right defender, and Dani as a right midfielder. We can defend better against their wings attacks, and Dani can attack as much as he needs to. Though either Pedro or Villa will need to be a sub.

————————————-
Man Utd didn't pressure us which was the key of them loosing, their defense did leave the sides open and gathered in the middle of the box, Xavi Iniesta and Villa tried to score from a long shot, and we did actually score two goals from the line of the box
and one last thing, Long Live Busquets !!!!!!!
well done…maybe you can come and coach my school team lol… we might actually win something
hats off brother…………………that analysis was as perfect as barca's football…………..kudos
Manchester had so many problems with 07/08 Barca, and we had really disasterous team at that time. There is no way they could ever cope with this generation.
great watch.
Nice analysis! A video of more of Busquets brilliance woulde be nice to show everyone that is underrating this "hell of a player" :]
Oh and Pep you might as well use your real name, we know you are "Allas"
hahahahahaaaaa
Great!!! looks like my National Team's Captain aitn needed much @ Barcelona=/ Well At least we have the two best DMs in the world. I, an Argentine, am willing to admit Busi might be better than Masch. At least when it comes to barcelona style play that is.
I would never dream of saying Masch is "not needed much." He is an essential member of this team.
Loved the way he turned out to be a world class signing. Much doubters in the beggining but i always had faith in my favorite player in the world!!!
Mascherano and Busquets are two different players.. Mascherano is more of a defensive player and Busquets as a playmaking type. Mascherano is lacking of passing skills but the way he reads the game is second to none. He seems to know where to ball is going as this video demonstrates ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeAfg_e_4Uw ) Abidal should have make an intercepting tackle, preventing Wilshere to reach Bendtner but he didn't.. Busquets should have been the one doing Mascherano's job but he can't read the game like Mascherano.
If I were to play a counter attack team knowing I have Abidal – Puyol – Pique – Alves in defense and Xavi – Iniesta in midfield, I would play Mascherano in midfield to destroy the counter attacks..
Without Masche perhaps Barça would have never qualify to the semi-finals!!!! Remember that last tackle on the box against Arsenal? Besides, he was the one chosen tp play as a CB when Puyol was injured, and even though he's not a CB he did a hell of a job. Don't take Masche away from us, it is very needed on the team!!!!!!
great video man, lke a visual cruyff
LOVED the video. thanks allas
Visca Allas e Visca totalbarca!!
..e visca Barca
Teams just cannot understand FC Barcelona's game. Messi dropping in midfield as USUAL was not only for 3vs3's.. Pep Guardiola might instructs Messi to drop deeps in midfield against big opponents. But Messi seem to be always in the midfield area this season. One reason why Pep Guardiola might instruct Messi to drop deep in midfield is because we all know big teams will always try to stop Messi. Defenders just cannot risk marking Messi in the midfield area because there will be no player in the back to defend.
If you watch the 5-0 against Real Madrid, anyone even my 3 years old nephew can notice that.. Messi dropped deep in midfield which disabled Pepe, Carvalho, Ramos and Marcelo to mark Messi the way Mourinho might have wanted.. The first goal ( Xavi's goal ) When Messi got the ball in midfield, three Real Madrid players ( Pepe, Alonso, Khedira ) ran toward Messi when they should have been defending.. Messi played to Iniesta who was unmarked and by the time Pepe Alonso and Khedira recovered to defend it was too late. Iniesta played to Xavi and Barca got the first goal.. I can list many cases but my answer will be too long..
Jose Mourinho realized that he cannot marked Messi the way he wanted because he played too deep in midfield in the 5-0.. He came up with another game plan in the 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.. He played a 4-3-3 and he played Pepe as DM to pick up Messi in midfield and stick to him. Pepe ended up in hurting Messi on any occasions.. Jose Mourinho played the same way in the Copa Del Rey and Champions League, Pepe as DM to mark Messi..
Pep Guardiola realized he must came up with another game plan since he knew Pepe would fouls Messi and Real Madrid would play defensively again.. I guess he told his players to take advantages of Real Madrid fouls which they did ( Busquets and Pedro ) Pepe got himself a RED CARD.. The game then opened as Barca scored 2 goals in 15 minutes.
Pep Guardiola outclassed Jose Mourinho. The loves I have for Pep Guardiola had dramatically increased since that day.. Best coach in the world.
love it.
there is another way to save messi from those wrestlers is put him in the right wing and Villa in CF position…………by that way if they try to stop messi's trade mark run they will leave space for Pedro,Villa and Alves in front left
You know, before the final I was really pissed about people saying Barça players were acting and diving (wich at some level I admit it's true), but nobody said how Madrid players kept making one foul after another in such a violent and unsportsmanlike way.
I think after two matches suffering from these kind of fouls (La Liga and Copa del Rey) Guardiola had enough so he decided to use Mou's tactics against him. There's some videos on youtube about how Madrid fouled Barça players, not to take the ball from them but after they've pass it to another player so the referee wouldn't see them and they could stop the run of the player that had made the pass. That is such an ugly way to destroy football!!!!!!!!!! I think if one teams is using these kind of tactics, diving and overreacting start to be fair to use.
Guardila knew Mou would put Pepe next to Messi again, and he also knew what kind of violent player Pepe is, that was already a 50% possibility of him getting a red card, a little diving would rise those chances up to… 85% maybe?
But like I said, that was before the match against ManU… After that I don't give a crap about Mourinho anymore…
Seeing this video makes me sad that we didnot win with a bigger amount of goals. That have been awesome!
I was watching the match with my finds in Arc del Triomf, and when we scored the third goal (not we, sorry, Villa, that wonderful wonderful man!!!) I was sure it was going to be another "manita", lot of time left, Barça playing that heavenly football again… It was a shame it didn't happen, but what the hell, still WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!
speechless… just Brilliant!!!!
As my name shows, I think you should make a ' team work ' video. I love goals coming from team works.. English Premier League don't have as much team works. They mostly play long balls forward, crosses.. I don't really like those kind of football.
In case you're thinking of making a teamwork video, you should start with that goal. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfjO66FaX8c ) that goal defines teamwork.
Abidal play to Milito and he continued to ran. He took three players with him so he could create space for Milito to play to Messi who was unmarked. Pedro then ran though the middle making confusions and creating space for Keita and enough rooms for Messi to play to Keita. Keita made an unexpected run and his marker had no time to catch to him.. The four players that were on Pedro had no time to get to Keita as well.. Barca got an amazing goal coming from teamwork.
Great goal indeed, you are 100% right!!! I think there's only one team in the world right now capable of such a complex and precise teamwork, AND IT IS OUR TEAM!!!! I love football, I love Barça.
Have you seen this. I dont believe it's real though but still so funny[youtube 1ptF_mQCd_k&feature=player_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ptF_mQCd_k&feature=player_embedded youtube]
Great video, as usual! I've learned to look forward to your videos, Allas.
One question: just before Pedro gets the ball for his goal, around 2:15 in the video, there's a defender next to Pedro (I think Vidic, but difficult to tell for me) who moves up towards Xavi. This gives Pedro extra time and space for his shot, although the defender tries to make a desperate sliding tackle of Pedro around 2:17. Why did the defender move towards Xavi? Was he trying to spring an offside trap? Did he want to add pressure to Xavi or Messi? Was he hoping to intercept the pass? I didn't get it.
The defender was Vidic.. It was teamwork though.. Vidic's intention was to stick to Pedro.. Messi running through the middle created confusion. Vidic left Pedro for Evra to mark and was moving toward Messi as he thought Xavi would have played to Messi. Evra had also ran toward Messi instead of going to Pedro.. Messi created DOUBLE confusion because he attracted both Vidic and Evra so he could create space for Pedro.. Pedro was completely unmarked.. When Vidic realized Evra did not mark Pedro, it was too late.. That's how Barca got a goal from teamwork.
Thanks — makes sense!
That true, but have you also noticed how, at the same time Evra is going for Messi, Pedro puts himself next to Vidic, stops his movement so he get's on his back, and just then, when he's sure Vidic can't see him, takes two steps back and then starts running? Awesome way to get off the mark…
That ‘s make sense
Great analysis, gorgeously presented! Thanks Allas!
TB should dedicate a PAGE for Allas' videos. This guy is brilliant and he needs to be awarded.
A page for his videos on the TB menu would be good.
We all can easily find his videos too, which is now scattered into different posts and replies.
Allas you beauty.
"TOTAL"ly beautiful football, basics, basics, all basics!! Thanks Allas… Couldn't Mou get a better seat in the house after all he and sir Alex are acquaintances if not friends …
Brilliant video! really interesting!
well done! Thanks!
I've been watching a lot of your videos and i think your analysis of these matches provides a lot insight into Barca's style of play and also the game as a whole. Would love to see more of your stuff, do you write a blog or something?
And by the way I'm glad you mentioned Busi at the end, his tactical and positional awareness is key to our success
uefa screwed us.. video is down
